Autism and Down Syndrome

I give a 10% discount on specific clothing items for families with an autistic or down syndrome child. I also give 5% back to autism awareness. My son Dylan has autism. Raising an autistic or down syndrome child is expensive and challenging. These children are brave, strong and beautiful but the challenges they face and will face as adults are incredible. It is important for me to help families also going through this beautiful, scary, painful, incredible journey of parenthood with a special needs child. If you are a special needs parent know that God loves your child and has a beautiful plan for his or her life. God has this and your child was given to you by Jesus because of the wonderful gift and plan He has for your child's life. It will be okay. Trust in God with all your heart and He will guide your ways.

If you are currently pregnant with a child diagnosed with down syndrome I do special birth gifts for when your little one arrives. Giving birth is scary in general but giving birth knowing your child has down syndrome is a whole new level of scary. I remember when my OB told me my son Dylan might have down syndrome. I remember the tears that rolled down my eyes and the prayers my church sent out while I waited for the tests to be done. I remember my OB telling me we could run the tests now or wait until the birth. I wanted to know so we could prepare for any complications during the birth. Dylan was born without downs syndrome but he was still born sick. We almost lost him several times. Today Dylan is strong but has the diagnosis of autism. Dylan is the most special, beautiful child. He is so loving and kind and gentle but we know that life will have many challenges for him. I chose to give back to special needs families because this journey is not an easy one. It is beautiful but raising a child that is autistic is also challenging.
